Across multiple mediums and genres, I’ve always followed the creed of becoming a jack-of-all-trades. I started with technical and then creative drawing, moved to software such as Pixia and Photoshop 7.0 for digital art, graduated to 3D when I began modding video games and subsequently learned modeling in Gmax, and these days I use DAZ Studio and Photoshop as my graphics production tag-team. My interests expanded to Cosplay, where I learned EVA foam crafting, painting with acrylics, tailoring, and make-up.

Further creative studies include photography and videography (Canon EOS M50, DJI Ronin-SC), drone videography (DJI Mavic Air) and cinematography, audio production (WavePad Pro) and music composition (Logic Pro X and M-Audio Oxygen Pro), multimedia and video editing (Lightworks Pro). Other hobbies include hiking, camping, biking, rifle and pistol shooting, VR gaming, skiing, struggling with time management, and snowboarding. I currently live in Idaho, in the United States.

When it comes to inspiration, my life’s experience growing up in both the relative and literal wilderness of Alaska created a comfort zone for me when it comes to the outdoors. The notion of adventure always summons motivation in me—as will any rainy, snowy or foggy day—and this contributes heavily to the overall theme of my works: characters embracing travel and exploration.

No matter what sources of inspiration I might creatively lift from, my primary focus is creating and developing characters of different backgrounds, cultures, social groups, and relationships. The added appeal of muscular masculinity being represented through a predominantly male (and non-heterosexual) cast is similarly an exploration of my own identity, and often characters’ experiences may be motivated by things I’ve gone through or learned from listening to others. My interests are spread across the cast of characters, each representing some aspect of identity I’ve pondered or become attached to, and helps give characters motivations and purpose.

Striving to never extract any duplicate or verbatim premises from these inspirational sources, I desire a world that is unique enough to stand out, yet familiar enough to easily to engage in. I feel that too much deviation from traditional fantasy norms could alienate certain viewers and readers, while too little would make this project just another homebrew setting easily lost amongst countless other creative works.

As such, I endeavor to make my universe accessible to all: containing easily relatable elements, where the most unique components are found in my characters’ pursuits of living life within a diverse land of opportunities, and how their actions influence the world around them.
