Artificially generated ‘artwork’ is appropriately controversial. Technology advances far faster than law and legislation—as a result, the protections that could be put in place to protect traditional and digital artists have been lackluster, as A.I. quickly overwhelms the internet and entices businesses and customers, corporations and patrons alike, to avoid giving dues to the artists who have endured the challenges and enjoyed the privileges of pursuing their artistic interests, while making an income that helps support their lives.

Without protections, Artists are in danger of A.I. generated products overtaking the market, depriving them of potential opportunity, and resulting in a world where yet another field is dominated by media generated by computers, and consumed by people who have become used to instant gratification and cheap mass-media entertainment.

There is a place for artificially generated imagery, and there are valid arguments for its continued development and implementation. But despite personally respecting the technology behind it, and appreciating the visual results of it, I will not openly endorse A.I. generations or share them publicly. Thus this page is only intended to be privately shared with those who have mutual interests in the relevant subject matter.
